Some models can also load the screen from the side. In models designed for large-format screen frames, side loading is more common because the screen frame is large and bulky. Loading the screen from the side can reduce the lifting and moving amount. It is more convenient to load the screen from the side when the automatic screen coater is running online with other automatic screen processing equipment (such as cleaning equipment, regeneration equipment, drying equipment and developer). Regardless of how the screen is installed, once the screen is in the correct position, the pneumatic clamping device or mechanical clamping device closes and locks the screen. For more convenient operation, many models have a foot pedal to control the clamping action, so that the operator can free up both hands to control the screen. After installing the screen, the automatic coater can be filled with the corresponding photosensitive emulsion and then start coating. Depending on the control system and the functions of the equipment, the equipment can coat both sides of the screen at the same time. Suitable for the production of soft substrates such as PVC/PE film, it is simply to apply glue on the film.The specific process includes gluing, drying, winding and tension control. The film can be PVC, PE, PET, etc., or some paper, such as applying hot melt glue on release paper.
